New anoxic biofilter with reeds for the treatment of water polluted by perchlorate or nitrate. This extensive process consists of a mineral granular bacterial support saturated in water which circulates in polluted water. (Patented process)
A source of carbon is added to allow the consumption of dissolved oxygen and stimulate perchlorate biodegradation.
ACID TAR NEUTRALIZATION
Acid tar must be neutralized (pH 2) for acceptance for off site treatment. Innovative on site solution is implemented using a hydraulic mixing tool onto an excavator.
